Manual Internal Line-Up Clamps (MILCs) |
Designed to fit a single pipe size and wall thickness, these use a jack-type mechanism to provide alignment and clamp. Pipe sizes 10” to 36” (254mm to 914mm) |
Roli Cradles  |
CRC-Evans provides Roli cradles to provide lift and support for all line-travel operations. They feature non-marring rollers with anti-friction bearings mounted on high-strength cables. |
Pneumatic-Tired Lowering-In Cradles |

Narrow-gap bevels on all pipe ends are critical for perfect welds. CRC-Evans Pipe Facing Machines deliver those tight tolerances. They machine the pipe ends in one smooth pass, typically in two to five minutes. Heavy wall models are also available, allowing you to work with wall thickness’ up to 80 mm. |

Our Pipe Facing Machines are powered by CRC-Evans HPUs. They give you the flexibility of diesel power for land operations and electricity for laybarge and spool-based. They can be tractor-mounted or stationary to fit the application. |
Road Boring Machine |
Rugged duty horizontal road boring machines are built for production and reliability. Design features include fully protected working parts with easy accessibility. A lubricated gear and chain box, multi-plate clutch and heavy duty clutch provide optimum drive to the auger and cutting head. For pipe sizes up to 72” (1829 mm) |
Augers |
Augers remove debris from the cutting head to the rear of the casing. Augers are specific to the casing size being used. |
Cutting Heads   |
Two standard types of cutting heads are offered: General purpose (H&L type) for boring into semi-soft formations. Rock (Finger-type) for boring into semi-hard rock formations. Both feature replaceable cutters. |
Pipe Defrosters  |
Pipe defrosters eliminate frost and moisture prior to cleaning and coating the pipe. Available models include infrared LPG and direct flame burners. For pipe 6”-60” (152mm-1524mm). |
Compressors |
CRC-Evans compressors are rated at 225psi as required to operate the CRC-Evans pneumatic equipment. Compressors are available in gasoline, diesel or electric powered models. Working range is 200-225 psi (13.8-15.6 bar), 16.7-66 cfm (472.94 l/m-1869.12 l/m) with 80 or 120 gal. (302 l- 454 l) tank size. |
Ditch Pumps  |
These diesel powered automatic draining, self-priming pumps remove water, mud and debris. Working rate is 130,000 gph (492,000 lph). |
Trac Wheels  |
Trac Wheels transport heavy loads over rough or unstable terrain. They are readily adaptable to most hauling equipment. Available in 15, 30 and 50-ton models (13,611 kg, 27, 222 kg, and 45,370 kg). |
